Apparently I was on the 6pm news - 12 ABC - last night. Yesterday I voted early and I waited in line for 3 hours! Woe is me, the lines are much shorter today, but I won't have an opportunity to vote today so it worked out for the best.
I couldn't find me online, but this video best describes the atmosphere. Again, I stood in line for three hours. Also, for those that may be interested, here is a transcript of my interview, from what I can remember:
Jason Newton (I believe): "Hi, can I ask you a few questions?"
Me: looking terrified
JN: "Don't worry, they are real simple."
Me: "oh....o--okay"
JN: "Did you ever expect this kind of turn-out?"
Me: "Well, I'm kinda young, so I don't really have too much experience when it comes to this..mumble...mumble..... I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but I'm really glad to see a lot of people are out?" (yes, it was a question)
JN: "Why are you glad?"
Me: "Well, people care, Jason. I'm glad to see people are caring, and it is great and the fact that everyone is out here caring, well that's really just great."
Very eloquent. If you happen to see it, you will know what I mean.
Also, met the mayor. He thanked me for my patience and I thanked him for being the mayor. I was really spot on yesterday.

Better than I would have done. I usually take the awkward soiling of myself approach to unexpected questions.
