I just had to do something other than thesis!
Either way, this is in gouache. I like the handling of color on her body, maybe next time I will shoot for that!
Reminder! Senior Exhibition Show: April 20th, 5-9pm. Be there or be square!

Dear Carol Anne,
What a wonderful artist you are! (And have always been!!!) Glory to God!
Congratulations on your Senior Exhibition Show!
We are so pleased to have received a postcard announcing this grand event!
I know your parents are both SO proud of you and are delighted to be coming to see you in Milwaukee. I visited with them both in their home earlier this week while in Missouri. Your Mom is looking SO much better than when in ICU. :))
Based on the very large amount of information your father has gathered on the subjects of medical malpractice and Torte Reform--your Dad sounds like he will be running for some kind of public office soon. It's just bound to spill over into the lives of others--so they will reap the benefits of all he has learned through this process, right? He's such a good guy and loves your Mom so much. I pray he has peace that God is a just God, and that the Lord is merciful.
My best to you, honey, as you plan for and await their visit. Remember to rest, relax, and know that you'll only be able to share a small portion of all the wondrous things in your life you want them to know about...so be selective. Time and energy will fly! Have a good movie on hand at home... And know I'll be praying you through.
Again, congratulations!
With love,
and blessings always,
Karla Enwright

I know what you mean! My thesis show is up on the 26th and I'm wore out already! Good luck. Her disposition reminds me a lot of myself.
