I just had to do something other than thesis!

Either way, this is in gouache. I like the handling of color on her body, maybe next time I will shoot for that!

So here are a few pictures of the thesis process so far; I'm almost done! As for framing, I have to trim down the edges of the pieces, since they're all on huge slabs of masonite, but they are looking pretty good so far. The only thing, which you can see from the photos, is how highly reflective that glass is. I'm hoping that won't be as big a deal once I get some proper lighting on them.

Well, here we go! Everything is up and done, ready to go for Friday night! I am very excited to see that not only mine is finished, but all of the seniors are breathing easier this Monday. My family is coming into town to view the gallery on opening night, so that is also exciting! I am very tempted to buy a nicer camera, as if you look on Flickr at the rest of my gallery, my camera is showing it's age, and I would like some high quality photos come Friday. Does anyone know of any good deals going on right now for cameras?
