Snow snow I love it so!

I usually would be wishing I was in KC if not for the fact they also had a heaping helping of snow. The only difference is that in KC, I know it will be gone in a couple of days and the snow up in MKE is here to stay until MAY....sheesh. I seriously would not have as much of a problem at all with Milwaukee if it had sensible weather. In fact, I wouldn't have a problem at all.

Mark happened across some free Packers tickets so he's up in Green Bay for the weekend. I'm going to settle in and do some homework. I also made some cookies, but there are so many that I may take them in to Famous Footwear tomorrow so Kyle can help me polish them off. I think tonight I'll wrap some presents, work on my linoleum prints and watch "Why We Fight." I watched a little bit last night, and it seemed very fascinating. Quiet weekend! I haven't had a weekend like this in a good long while. I won't know what to do with myself!

Ouch!

So I cut my thumb on a linoleum cutter. Then I went into the hallway to pass out. I always pass out when it comes to these sorts of things, so I was prepared this time. As soon as I saw the blood gush, I was like, "Welp, better go find some able-bodied teachers who can babysit me as I sit on the floor and be woozy for a while." I pass out all the time, not even when I cut myself, so I know exactly what it feels like right before I do. I also know that it's not a big deal and that it's just my body's sissy way of handling a small cut on my finger. Unfortunately, the teachers that I designated to watch over me in the hallway didn't know that, so security was inevitably called. He did bandage me up pretty good, but they were all saying, "Stitches!" and that was making me a bit more woozy. Luckily, after all the wooziness passed about 12 hours later, I checked up on my thumb. Stitches indeed! It is a pretty good gash though, so I don't feel as ridiculous. A little ridiculous, but not as ridiculous.

Music?

So my ipod is officially dead. It won't charge or anything. So now I'm experiencing some music withdraw. It was okay when my car got it's cd player stolen, I could handle that because at least I had another means when I got to school. But now that's gone so I've been listening to music on my computer (not very convenient or good sounding) or at home on the stereo (but when am I home?) I even busted out the flute to hear some real good audio last night (which was me struggling through scales since I haven't played in a jillion years). It's hard because I've been rediscovering some music I have on this computer, which is one of my favorite things, rediscovering music you've always had. I need a billion dollars to replace these things!
